Julie Anderson has been an associate attorney at The Collins Law Firm since 2006, her work at the firm concentrates on
the personal injury and environmental contamination areas of law. She graduated from Northern Illinois University’s
College of Law in May 2006, where she was valedictorian of her law school class. Julie attended Augustana College in
Rock Island, Illinois, and graduated, cum laude, with a B.A. in Business Administration in 2002.
Julie recently won her first jury trial in Will County with a jury award that was higher than the previous arbitration
award the Defendant rejected. The case involved a rear-end auto collision in a restaurant parking lot; as a result of this
accident, the client suffered a cervical strain, lumbar strain, and an annular tear in his lower back.
Prior to coming to law school, Julie spent a year working as a legislative research assistant for the Illinois Legislative
Research Unit in Springfield, Illinois.
