Yvonne S. Blackwell - Office Manager / Certified Paralegal: Now in her
thirteenth year with the firm, Yvonne is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the
Firm. Her responsibilities include supervising our support staff, coordinating monthly client billing
and organizing the Firm’s annual events. In 1996, Yvonne Blackwell joined The Collins Law Firm as a
legal assistant. Yvonne has 13 years of litigation experience including drafting documents, preparing
pleadings, managing files, and daily client contact. Yvonne graduated with a degree in Paralegal

Johannah Drerup - Certified Paralegal / Website Manager: Johannah has been
with the firm for nine years. During that time, she has supported the attorneys in the organization of
their files, drafting legal documents, and performing all aspects of secretarial work. Currently, besides
assisting the attorneys with various research projects, she also maintains the firm's website.

Marcelina Smith - Legal Assistant: Marcelina began working with the firm in 2007.
Currently, she provides secretarial support that includes assisting clients, maintaining attorney diaries,
and preparing legal documents and pleadings. Marcelina has over 10 years of legal secretary experience,
obtained her BA from Aurora University in 2009 and her Associates Degree in Business in 2002 from

assistant working for law firms in downtown Chicago. She has experience in corporate law, civil
litigation, including consumer finance and environmental law. Currently, Rita provides secretarial
support to the partners and associates, assisting with preparing pleadings and other legal documents.
She graduated with a degree in Applied Sciences from South Suburban College.

practice is focused in the following areas: underwriting loan documents for banks, banking litigation and
representing the interests of financial institutions. Her background and knowledge also extends to commercial
litigation, real estate, and civil litigation. Kristie graduated with a B.A. Degree in Communications from the
