Chris Gauthier joined Collins Law in 2024. Chris’s practice primarily focuses on medical malpractice and negligence, nursing home abuse and neglect, personal injury, and wrongful death.
Chris graduated cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law in Rhode Island, where he was Vice President of the Moot Court Board and an honors student. In his second year of law school, he also served as a Judicial Extern to United States Magistrate Judge Patricia A. Sullivan, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island. There, he gained invaluable experience from behind the bench while working on a myriad of cases involving complex class action, civil rights, and constitutional claims.
He also spent time doing legal aid with The Bronx Defenders in New York, and interning with a plaintiffs’ firm in Providence, where he first gained experience with personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
Prior to law school, Chris earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. He and his wife now live in the western suburbs of Chicago.
