Attorneys Margaret Galka and Shawn Collins recently obtained a $700,000 settlement on behalf of our client (a female survivor of sexual assault on her college campus) against her college. The college paid $700,000 to settle the lawsuit our client brought based on allegations that the college mishandled her report to campus officials that she had been sexually assaulted by another student on campus and that the college failed to prevent the sexual assault where other students had previously reported sexual misconduct by the same student-perpetrator.
