U.S. District Court Rules in Plaintiff’s Favor
The Firm represents a disabled minor who was assaulted in a group living home. The defendant-group living home asked the Court to dismiss the case, arguing that our client could not show the home to be responsible for the assault. The Court disagreed, and refused to dismiss the case. It will now go to discovery where we will obtain the defendant’s documents and sworn testimony concerning our allegations that it failed to protect our client.
